MOZART UND SEINE MAGYAREN

Mozart hat im 1781 endgültig nach Wien gezogen. In zehn Jahren 18-mal Wohnung gewechselt. Sein letztes Heim stand gerade gegen der Großloge. Das Haus Anfang XX-e Jahrhundertes abgerissen wurde. Heute ca. in selber Höhe (damalige 2-e Stockwerk) man Koffer und Tasche kaufen kann.

Mozart war ein Gesellschaft Mensch, und unter vielen anderen einige wahre ungarische Freunde gefunden.

Jetzt werden aus seiner Umgebung nur zur Brüderkette gehörende Personen vorstellen.  András Hadik (Graf) der legendaren Husaren Regiment Befehlshaber war Musikfreund und mit Brüder Amadeus auch engst befreundet, wann der Musikdichter noch nur Herr Mozart gewesen. Amadeus in Hadik Schloß durch mehrere Jahren ungezählte Konzerte gespielt hat , ab und zu wöchentlich sogar mehrere.
Im 1926 das Städtische Museum Wien von Rudolf von Tinti ein um 1785-90 bemalte 70x80cm große Gemälde gekauft.Damals noch wuste niemand daß später in Josephinisches Wien die königliche Kunst übendende man identifizieren kann. Der Autor (der zuerst nur nach dem II-es Weltkrieg vorgestellte Gemälde) war lange als unbekannt bezeichnet. Heute wissen wir daß die unbekannte heißt Ignatz Unterberger, und sein Werk ist ein Freimaurerisches potpuri, welche gleichzetig mehrere Logenarbeit darstellt, und die Anwesende sind auch von verschiedenste Jahrzenten abgebildet. Jetzt nur die verewigte Personen sind wichtig, weil ein Analyse des Bildes die Rahmen dieses kurzen Referat sprengen würde.

Hinten in der Mitte stehend Johann Esterházy (Graf)  Meister von Stuhl, vorn ganz links Johann Nepomuk Esterházy (Graf) vorn in der Mitte sitzend Nikolaus Esterházy (Fürst). Noch weitere in Wien Wohnsitz habende ungaren sind anwesend, näm lich; Gedeon Ráday (graf), Samuel Teleki, Károly (Karl) Pálffy (Graf auch mit Wohnsitz in Gyöngyös wo unsere Europa Loge zu Hause ist) und János (Johann) Szapáry (Graf).

Mozart hat 17 Werke für Logenarbeit komponiert, davon zwischenzeit zwei verschollen gegangen. Das schönste kurze Prahtwerk als Freimaurerische Trauermusik (KV 477) ist bekannt. Ursprünglich "im Monath Jully" (Mozart eigenhändiges Vermerk in sein Werkverzeichnis) für Meistererhebung - Memento Mori - komponiert, aber zuerst anlässlich Franz Esterházys (Graf von Galanta) und  Herzog Georg August von Mecklenburg Todesfalle während desTodesfeuers in der Loge vorgeführt (17. Nov. 1785) wurde. 

Nur ein Jahr auf Mozarts Tod mehrere von seiner Freunde in Jakobiner "Bewegung" Trost gehofft haben.

József Hajnóczy, János Laczkovics, Ignác Martinovics, Jakab Sigray (Graf) und Ferenc Szentmarjai wurden am 20-e Mai 1795 nach mehrmonatigen Prozesse zum Tode verurtelt, und das Volk abzuschrecken veröffentlich vollgestreckt. Alle genannten zur Bruderkette gehörten. Der Botschaft war eindeutig, bisher und nicht weiter, und wenn jemand noch überhaupt so verrükt wäre, daß noch weiter tollkühne Freiheit Ideen jagt, nun wird mit einem Haupt kürzer.

Der Kaiser sehr rasch, schon am 11. Juni in ganzer Monarchie das Freimaurertum völlig unter Verbot gestellt. 

Der aufgeklärte Kazinczy war Gründer der Loge  "zur Tugendhafte Weltbürger" (1782)  in Stadt Miskolc, später Mitglied der Bona consilii - "zum guten Rat", welche war in Pannonia das wichtigste Geistliche Wekstatt . Kazinczy, der seinem Hauptamt wegen in Wien öfter längere Zeit verbracht hat und auch mehrere Loge besucht. Von Mozart mehrmals zum Konzerte eingeladen wurde. Im Mai 1786 in sein Lebenszusammenfassende Agenda; Pályám emlékezete- "Erinnerungen auf mein Laufbahn"  schrieb: Mozart az orcehstert igazgatá, fortepianoját vervén - Mozart dirigiert das Orchester schlagend sein fortepiano Kazinczy war auch mit Soliman eng befreundet, haupsächlich die Literar-Phylosophische Schöngeist pflegen.Kazinczy der Sprachwissentschaftler hat in Jakobiner Bewegung  keine besondere Rolle gespielt, aber das auch mit 10 Jahre Knast bezahlt wurde (Kufstein, Spielberg-Brünn, und Munkács - Munkacsevo).Wie ganz kurz vorgestellt habe, unsere Brüdern damals in Wien die Logenarbeit geführt haben aber Sie kamen von Buda(Ofen), Keszthely, Zágráb (Zagreb) Pétervárad (Petrovarasdin), Rozsnyó (Ruzomberok), Frankfurt am Main, Augsburg, Salzburg, Varasd (Varasdin), Kolozsvár (Cluj Napoca), Miskolc, Zalaegerszeg, Esterház (Fertőd) und so weiter ohne Ende. Auch heute aus Frankfurt nach Újvidék (Novi Sad) ein modernstes Airbus braucht Zwei Stunde. Das ist ein Durchschnitt Flightime-Flugzeit maximum wenn man über EU hin und her Fliegen möchte. Schon damals  -wenn mit heutiger EU Karte in der Hand rechne - es war aus EU, 9 Länder zusammen! 

Nach dem Ausgleich im Jahre 1867 in Dualismus, wann in Ungarn die Logen Tore wieder weit geöffnet, und das Licht wieder eingeholt aus Österreich,  (momentan mit gegenseitigen Licheinbringung  Ungarn "Führt" 3:2. Wie schön es wäre, das in der Zukunft nur in Praterstadion Zählen wir dir Tore, und das Licht ewig jagt die böse Schatten weck). Darauf  kam ein halbes Jahrhundert mit Österreich auf unserem Kontinent unter vielen  anderen ein beispielhaftes Eisenbahnnetz ausgebaut, Industrie und Landwirtschaft atemraubende Erfolge geschafft, aber  im 1914 kam die erste selbsvernichtende Krieg für Europa, welche auf unglüklicher Art nur zwischen Gänsefüßchen abglschlossen wurde, und damit schon die nächste, noch größere Katastrofe war einprogrammiert.

Und nach 1945 war noch immer nicht Genug, weil einmal hier, andersmal dort die Empörung flammte auf.

Nun momentan scheint die Sache in ruhigerem Zustand, hoffentlich lange.Heute in 58-ster Jahr, das wir kein Krieg führen in Europa. Absichtlich nicht so geaußert, das schon seit 1945 lebt man in relativen Frieden, weil aus Frieden wird nie Genug.

Was jetzt noch flüchtig in diesem kurzen Schnappschuß Reiche noch ablichten möchte ist nur eine Kleinigkeit, welche nur für ein Musiker (was von Beruf bin) auffällig ist, aber habt Ihr schon unsere als Europa Hymne verwendete Freudensode  - Musik von unserem Bruder Ludwig - nicht nur mit Orchester sondern mit Chor gehört? Warum sing man es nicht, und wenn schon einmal, anlässlich Ungarns beitritt im 2004, warum nicht IMMER?. Hoffe, daß nur nicht Texte wegen? Weil dort leuchtet für immer es von unserem Bruder  Friedrich (An die Freude)  zwei  Begriff; "Elisyum" und "Götterfunken".

Wir Brüder, Grüßen einander mit Umarmung (zwischenzeit keine Ellenbogen rutscht "zufällig" gegen die Rippen andere, wie oft in  profanem Leben, oder noch öfter auf politischem Manege), und auch  - ebenso "zufällig" treten wir mit brüderlichem Gruß gleichzeitig nie auf die Füße der andere.

Zwei kleine Bewegung welche in Außen- oder in Profaner Welt wenn es so besser fällt, leider noch lange  - aber hoffentlich immer geringer - in Gebrauch bleibt.

Zuletzt, quasi als Zusammenfassung stelle da, ein Gedicht von Barone Orczy, Meister unserer Uhrloge (ab 1784) in Gyöngyös. Im achziger Jahres des XVIII. Jahrhundertes, er als der erste in schon fünf Jahre eher (1785) als alle andere in Wien lebende Ungaren - welche alle ebenso fleißig Dichtungen geschrieben, und ebenso fleißige Brüder waren, weil damals in gut ausgebildeten Kreisen es war eine Voraussetzung - nun unser Orczy nur in ungarischer Sprache seine Gedichte entworfen, wann die andere neben ungarisch entweder Deutsch oder Latein wie üblich verwendeten.

Aus Erstdruck nach 227 Jahre so klingt sein Gedicht in Deutsch:

Gesetz des Freimaurers
Vertraue dein Handel an den Gott! mein Krumpel
Deinem Gott zu beten sollst die Hände heben.
Sei lieber Zuhörer, scheue die Protzerei,
wünschend nicht so viele, wenig ist Genüge .
Lerne das Geheimnis niemandem entdecken
Kleineren nachgeben, den Große einschätzen.
Bedrohe niemanden, Arbeit nie verschiebe
den Hochmut verachte, das Schicksal ertrage.
Führe frommes Leben, sei bereit zum Tode
Nur auf diese Weise errichst deine Krone.

Seine abgedrückten Gedanken könnten auch heute Leitfade dienen ebenso in Brüssel, wie hier in Wien, und Buda und Pest schon seit mehr als 200 Jahren...

The 5th International Europe Lodges Symposium

The 5th International Symposium of Europe Lodges was held in Wien, Austria, during 11-13 May 2012. Wien is a great city, former imperial capital city, and everybody felt this reality, in many ways. The event was organized by our Brothers from Europa zu Neuen Welten Lodge and it has proved to be an important Masonic meeting.

Due to the higher level of discretion required by the Austrian Brethren, fewer words will be written hereunder.

The guests arrived on Friday, the 11th of May, and were accommodated in various locations. A welcome dinner took place in the same evening.

The works of the Symposium began in the next morning and were conducted by Bro\Christian T., Past Master of Europa zu Neuen Welten Lodge. The theme was “The Europe Lodges and the Current Challenges in Europe”. You will find hereinafter a selection of the papers which have been delivered on the occasion.

Új reguláris páholy Magyarországon - Európa Akáca a Mátraalján (Gyöngyös)

Ünnepi munkával, külföldi szabadkőműves vendégek részvételével avatták fel az "Európa Akáca a Mátraalján" nevű új páholyt Gyöngyösön 2010. november 13-án. A páholy az 1786-ban ugyanitt alakult páholy hagyományait kívánja folytatni. A résztvevők az ünnepségen az előd páholy XVIII. századi kötényeinek másait viselték. A Gyöngyös-Farkasmály keletén dolgozó reguláris orientációjú páholy a Magyarországi Symbolikus Nagypáholy védelme alatt működik.

CHAIN OF UNION

 We are visiting this annual conference as one of a youngest lodge of the chain. The Europa Akáca a Mátraalján – ACATIAE EUROPEAE IN SINU MATRÀ is the youngest and one of oldest lodge at the same time in Hungary. The first lodge was established in 1749. The Freemasons started to work in profane world in an abbey of Franciscan in the baroque age. The Habsburgs had forbidden every kind of convent, Franciscans too. The catholic bishop from Eger gave a helping hand to the Franciscans. He had given them the right to celebrate mass, so they could operate further. (So it is not surprising, then Empress Maria Theresa is “the Queen of the Night” in the opera Magic Flute by Mozart). The supporter of Franciscans was the Bishop from Eger Eszterházy Károly, whose brother was prince Eszterházy, who worked at the lodge of Born Ignác in the town of emperor, Vienna.

The Egriens work at our lodge nowadays, too. Joseph Haydn was conductor and compositor at the emperor house for 40 years. I have attached a replica of the panting that was painted in 1785, in Vienna. Eszterházy had shaken the hands of the initiated and covered eyes brothers at the center of the painting. The men with pony tail hair in long brown coat are Joseph Haydn. The media treats the painter as unknown, but he is our brother Ignaz Unterberger. The painting was painted in 1785. The Freemasonry Franciscans arrived to Gyöngyös in 1782. They were of French nationality. They had stayed in the abbey till 1786. We do not know them name by name, but we hope to find documentations related to them the next years. They have celebrated the first freemasonry work. The Bishop Eszterházy Károly who saved the operation of Franciscans had made several freemasonry works and donated them. His membership was not mentioned; otherwise he would become excommunicated by the church.

The other lodge - the profane one, operated in the castle of Orczy Lőrinc (from 1781), but finally it moved to the earl’s wine cellar, near in Farkasmály, and they had worked from 1784 on. Our lodge is operated 30 meters from that cellar. We do not have proof, that the two lodges knew about each other or worked together, but we definitely know the Franciscans were invited by Orczy and Freemason brothers in the cellar at Farkasmály.At the beginning of 20 century, between 1906 and 1920, a lodge was operational and named Akác a Mátraalján (Acatia under the Matra hill). The Freemasonry was forbidden in 1920, so our brothers worked in secret. The downtown of Gyöngyös was burnt totally by a great fire in 1917. The reconstruction was led by brothers. Most of the leaders were our brothers - the mayor, the main leader of the reconstruction, the fonder of the local fire brigade and the many of others. 74 brothers worked at the lodge in that time. These forefathers engage hard work to the third - let me say - forth lodge, because two of them were operated simultaneously in baroque age. Our lodge was founded by 9 brothers, now 14 of us work. We explore and process as an exploratory lodge not only the Freemasonry, but the culture of micro region Mátralja also.

The Franciscans moved The Supporter Center for Children with Autism into the half of their abbey. They nurse and teach 35 children – as much as they can - who are not affiliated into any other Hungarian institute because of serious status of their autism. The circumstances are demonstrated well, with the fact that 35 patients are nursed by 40 employees. We donated them the computers (previously they had only one). Finally they can plan now a complex and difficult drug (medicine) dosage program at the clinic, thanks to the computers donated by us. One of the kids is a genius on the computers (he is not able to communicate in any other way, only via computer). We brought the computer to him too. Analyzing the situation, we support the institute for years according to their demand. We help several schools in the town with the publications, prepared by us, which are used on field of polytechnic and linguistic. Hungary is in the middle of alteration circumstances. Based on our former calculation, 8-10 years are necessary to show the first results of our work in Gyöngyös, due to our agenda. It is our pleasure – to be here at the Conference of the European Lodges and the visiting of the "Europe" Lodges in the future.

Our code word is SUCCISA VIRESCIT, the carved tree gets green again.Meanwhile we understand the common acacia, because the Freemasonry was forbidden and pursued for half of the century not only in Hungary, but around us also. We wish the huge obstacles will not be a part of our common future again, and the European Breather chain get stronger continuously.

The 4^th International Symposium of “Europe” Lodges was held in Longwy, France, during 6-8 May 2010. France is in itself a great Masonic land, and Longwy is very special, both by history and by craft. The French Brothers from “La Chaine D’Union Européene” took much care and showed much love in organizing the meeting, bringing together the historical tradition and our current European values. All these were nursed with the well-known good taste and the sense of fine arts, so characteristic to French soul.
A Temple was prepared into the Arsenal building, one of the most important monuments of the town.

Longwy Fortifications

The guests arrived on Friday, the 6^th of May, and were accommodated into the Threeland hotel. As Longwy is near the borders of Belgium and Luxembourg, and the hotel is in Luxembourg, a tour of Luxembourg was organized quickly after the arrival of the guests. Then, everybody was officially welcomed at the city hall of Longwy, by the mayor. A welcome dinner was prepared in the evening, at the Threeland hotel.

Many Brothers came with their wives, so a “Ladies’ day” was organized on Saturday.

The works of the Symposium started on Saturday morning, and the theme was “The Chain of Union”. The works were conducted by Bro\Eric T., Past Master of “La Chaine D’Union Européene” Lodge. You can see hereinafter a selection of the delivered papers.

The Ritual Work, presided by W\M\Jean Paul H., took place in the afternoon, in the Arsenal temple. A special ritual was written and performed on the occasion.

After the closure of work, the guests were offered a cocktail break at the town hall from Longwy and the traditional Gala Dinner at the L’Hôtel de Ville from Longwy. Joy, brotherhood, and then again joy were the notorious outcome of the day.
